Everything Ecosystem
The Everything Ecosystem is a venture development framework. A web framework gives a developer conventions, a project structure, generators, a test runner and packages. This framework gives a builder the same things for a venture: anything they undertake, from a hobby to a company, with AI agents working beside them. Mentura is its working name.
These are draft developer docs. The framework is private for now, and these pages are not published until the owner approves the channel.
What you get
| Web development framework | Everything Ecosystem |
|---|---|
| Conventions over configuration | One opinionated default per choice, each with its references |
| Project structure | A workspace of ventures, seven layers and typed records |
| A generator | mentura init, which starts a venture with only the layers you choose |
| A test suite | node test.mjs, every check in one run |
| Packages | Kits: the skills, records, checks, templates and references a layer offers |
| Routing | One route table shared by a CLI, an MCP server and an HTTP API |
The layers
Five layers form a loop, and two cut across them.
| Layer | Question |
|---|---|
| Purpose | Why |
| Knowledge | What is known and intended |
| Operations | How the work is run |
| Execution | Who or what does the work |
| Evidence | Did it work |
| Governance (cross-cutting) | Who may decide |
| Interface (cross-cutting) | How you work across the layers at once |
Purpose is written into knowledge, operations decides how the work runs, execution does it, and evidence feeds back into knowledge and purpose.
